1) Are the Deer going to keep us from having a nice landscape?
Certainly not, there are over a 100 deer resistant landscape plants that we use in the Texas Hill Country that look great and bloom lots of color.

2) Are there plants that use less water?
We use a lot of plants that are considered "Native & Adaptive" just for that reason.

3) Can we have "Low Maintenance" without looking like a desert?
Yes, we have lots of plants that offer great performance without breaking your back every Saturday.

4)Xeriscape or Zeroscape?
Well the correct term is "Xeriscape" it comes from Xeros the Latin word for dry. It is simply put, the use of Native and Adaptive plant materials to accomplish a low water requirement landscape.

5)What the heck is "Sustainable"?
That is a term you are now hearing on all the design and garden shows and simply means: The use of natural or manufactured products that require no maintenance care. Wow... we are describing tile, stone, glass, composite or metallic products for use in your hardscape, pool and other appropriate areas of your landscape.

6) Can the damage from this severe drought and heat be repaired?
Yes the damage you are seeing in your landscape can be repaired, but instead of just replacing the dead plants for new ones, look at the cause of the damage. Is it lack of organic soil content or bad plant selection.

7) Can we offer design solutions that look good if we have less grass?
That really is the goal, offering design solutions that correct the problem of less available water for the lawns.
